Basic Navigation ✅
As a Social LMS, our mission is to provide a platform that lets learning communities of all sizes, shapes, and structures thrive by enabling social, collaborative, and active interactions.
To reach that mission, we are committed to make our software as user friendly and intuitive as possible.
If something is unclear and doesn’t work properly, please don’t hesitate to contact us at support@linkreducation.com.
In this article, you will learn about:
The Sidebar menu
The Sidebar menu is the primary way to navigate in Linkr.
This menu is always present. However, it’s possible to minimize it by clicking on the arrow next to the Linkr logo:
The Sidebar menu will allow you to easily go to:
Your Dashboard: The dashboard is a page that contains shortcuts to all the different spaces you manage or are a member of. This makes it simple for you to navigate to linkr(s), Class(es), and, soon, Group(s).
If a Class you manage or are a member of doesn’t appear in the list anymore, it’s possible that it has been archived by its manager or an automatic end date. You can see Archived Classes by switching tabs at the top of the Class section of the dashboard:
Your Publications: As a Social LMS, Linkr provides its users with powerful tools to publish and share content within a class, a group, an organization or even outside Linkr! Your Publications is the place where you can see, edit and delete all your own Publications and drafts.
Your Profile: As a Social LMS, Linkr offers its users to build a Profile they own and curate. As with a social network’s profile, each Linkr user’s profile evolves with the user’s activity within the platform.
The top right Toolbar
Present on all pages, the top right Toolbar gives access to a series of useful tools to enhance your Linkr experience:
Video Calls & Conferencing with Google Meet: As a Social LMS, Linkr makes it easy for its users to communicate and interact with each other. They can do it in video, for free, by using our integration with Google Meet, although the users must have an active Google account to be able to do so.
Notifications: Coming soon!
Messaging: Messaging is the feature to be used for private communications with one or several people at the same time without leaving Linkr.
Language Selector: You can switch all the interfaces in Linkr between English and French.
Your Account: It allows you to log out of Linkr, which we advise you to every time you end a session on a public computer.
How to find Support information
