Create a Publication
In Linkr, your Publications are always accessible from the the sidebar menu:
To create a new Publication, simply click on the + New Publication button on the top right of the Publication page:
The publication form will allow you to create your Publication:
A publication is required to have a Title and at least some content. We recommend including a Cover picture. This greatly increases how many people will click and read your publication.
To further increase indexability and help organize and distribute your content you should consider adding a few Subjects to your publication.
The right panel of the Publication form allows you to select the Audiences for your publication:
It will be possible for you to select Classes or Groups you would like to share this publication with. Sharing with a Class gives access to specific Privacy settings which will help you even further specify your target audience:
Public:
Linkr users and anyone with the direct link to this Publication will be able to read your work. But only linkr users will be able to comment.
Selected classes only:
Only the members of the class(es) you selected will be able to see this content.
Private:
The article will only be visible to you and the Manager(s) of the classes you selected.
While you write your Publication, Linkr continuously autosaves your work, and you will be able to see when the last save happened on the right of the form:
Publications can either be Drafts or Published. As long as you don’t choose to publish your content, the Publication will remain as a draft and won’t be seen by anyone. In your list of Publications, you can switch view from Published to Drafts at any time using the tabs at the top:
Edit, or delete a publication
From any list of Publications, you can view, edit or delete your publications by clicking on the three dots menu at the bottom of the card:
You can also edit your publication by clicking on the Edit Publication button at the top right of each publication page.
Note: if you have edited your publication but not published the changes yet, “Unpublished edits” will appear at the top right of the card:
How to insert an image into a publication
As we said above, we strongly encourage you to add a Cover picture to your Publication as it will greatly increase how many people will open it.
To insert images within your Publication, simply click on the image icon in the toolbar of the text editor:
This will prompt you to select an image on your device.
🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩The editor supports images up to XMB in the .JPG, .JPEG, .GIF, and .PNG formats.

Comment and Reply to Publications
Commenting on Linkr Publications provides an interactive and flexible experience for both the commenter and recipient.
Here are a two tips to help make your comments experience a positive one for everyone involved:
- Read the Publication before commenting: it’s sometimes tempting to react only after looking at a title, but the content of the Publication may be more nuanced than its title and bring elements that you may not have considered.
- Be respectful when sharing your point of view: you can hold a different point of view from the author, but that’s not ground for being disrespectful or attacking them.
There are great benefits to leaving meaningful comments. They can trigger interesting conversations and provide a positive learning experience for everyone involved, from the author to all viewers that will later read this exchange.
